Waringstown welcomes the advent of Christmas with carols around the Christmas tree on Monday 7 December at 7.30pm and all are invited to attend and mark the coming of Christmas.

Waringstown Community Carols offers a chance to join with friends and neighbours across the community to celebrate the festive season. Organised by Waringstown Community Development Association (WCDA), hosted by the Harnett family at Waring House and in partnership with local clergy and the Salvation Army band, the event is a traditional way of coming together and celebrating with music, song and prayer.

“Last year over 100 people attended the Community Carols,” says a spokesperson for WCDA. “We expect that this year’s event will be just as popular. The village Christmas tree is located in the grounds of Waring House and everyone is invited to gather at the gates to Waring House at 7.30pm on 7 December. We would like to thank the Harnett family for hosting the Community Carols again this year.”
